Second Eilene M. Galloway Symposium participants

The 2nd Eilene M. Galloway Symposiumon Critical Issues in Space Law was the second symposium in the series hosted by the National Center for Remote Sensing, Air, and Space Law. Co-sponsored by the Journal of Space Law and the International Institute of Space Law, the symposium addressed issues dealing with international civil space cooperation.

Third Eilene M. Galloway Symposium audience

The symposium addressed international civil space cooperation through three sessions, The first session, Using Law to Turn Obstacles into Opportunities, covered a variety of legal issues concerning export controls. The second session, Serving The Space Agency and Other Space Clients: Achieving Effective International Cooperation Through Legal Advice included discussions by prominent practitioners on issues involved with serving space agencies. Finally, a session titled International Perspectives consisted of presentations on how legal frameworks can faciliate international cooperation.
